What do you need to do...

7.1.NH.C.5 Tell or write about cultural products associated with the target culture(s) and identify how the products and practices are derived from the cultural perspectives. Typical dishes from a Spanish Speaking country. 2-3 famous people from that country and what they are known for (ex; Artist, painter, political figure) 5 additional facts about this country (ex: The national bird, animals they are known to have, tourist attractions) I can identify.... A spanish speaking country, the capital, region and population size. Imports and exports the Spanish speaking country is known for. The flag and what the colors and items on the flag represent.

When you open google draw… Give you document a name… It will say “Untitled drawing” click on this and you can rename it . Rename the document from “untitled drawing to your first and last name and the country name ex: Rosa Ramirez Guatemala ***Please click on the blue share button and share with me at: rramirez@Livingston.org

Day 1: What to do first…. Open google draw Give it a title: Your first and last name and the country name (ex: Rosa Ramirez Guatemala) Go to google and type your country name in the search box or use one of the websites I provided under the “Resources” slide (slide 7). 4. Go to slide 8, this is where you will find part 1,2 and 3. These are the first 3 pieces of information you will need for your infographic.

Day 2: What do I do now? *Go to google and find a website that gives you the following information about your country. *Copy and paste the information you find to your google draw form or google docs. (To copy: Highlight whatever you want to copy then press: Ctrl and C) (To paste press: Ctrl and V) Part 1. What is the capital city of the country you are researching? Part 2. In what region of the world is this country located (North America, Africa, Europe…)? *you can find this information on the PowerPoint from class Part 3. Population and size of the country ***Make sure to copy and paste the website to your google draw form.

Day 3: After parts 1,2 and 3… *Copy and paste the information you find to your google draw form or google docs *Using the same website or a different one find the following information… Part 4. What do the colors and items on this country’s flag represent? Ex: The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America, and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue, the color of the Chief (the broad band above the stripes) signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice.“ Part 5. What are the top 3 exports this country is known for? Part 6. What are 3 popular dishes (food) from this country? ***Make sure to copy and paste the website to your google draw form.

Day 4: After parts 4,5 and 6... *Copy and paste the information you find to your google draw form or google docs *Using the same website or a different one find the following information… Part 7. After doing some research, what interesting facts did you find?
