Morning Prayer 20 May 2010 REDESIGNING OUR PRESENCES Continental Mission for the Americas Morning Prayer 20 May 2010

The words of Maestra Thecla Let us look at things with the eyes of God, that is, with benevolence. Let us always remembers that we are “Daughters of St. Paul,” the Apostle of love, who not only described all the characteristics of this virtue with words we know by heart, but who put those words into concrete practice. If we want to be Daughters of St. Paul, then we must imitate our Father especially in the practice of love. (Conferences I, p. 145) The words of Maestra Thecla

The Word of God God will testify for me how much I long for you all with the warm longing of Christ Jesus; it is my prayer that your love for one another may grow more and more with the knowledge and complete understanding that will help you to come to true discernment, so that you will be innocent and free of any trace of guilt when the Day of Christ comes, entirely filled with the fruits of uprightness through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God (Phil. 1:8-11).

“Our faith in Christ also gives rise to solidarity, expressed as a continual reaching out to others in a spirit of fraternity and service. It should be manifested in visible choices and actions, primarily the defense of life and of the rights of the weakest and most marginalized members of society, as well as in the constant effort to support their efforts to take an active role in changing their situations. The Church’s charitable service of the poor “is the distinguishing feature of her lifestyle and pastoral planning” (Aparecida Doc. 394). The words of the Church

Preghiera Divine Heart of Jesus, inflame me with your love. This is your gift to me and I seek nothing else. All my good lies in you. You are my peace, my confidence, my safe refuge. Prayer
