Hunger Define hunger? How does it make you feel? How would you feel if you didn’t know when you would be fed next? What actions would you take if you were in this situation (poor and hungry)? Globally tens of thousands of people die each day as a consequence of malnutrition, most are children in the developing world. Few die of under-nutrition in the US. More die of over-nutrition, a problem more prevalent among the US poor than the affluent.

Some young (<20 yrs) and tip workers may be exempt from min wage Calif Min Wage $10.50 effective 1-1-17 In Calif. Gov Brown signed legislation that put into effect annual incremental increase to $15/hr by 2022. Small businesses will follow same path but with one extra year to reach $15/hr (2023)
