COUN 4956/5956  Play Therapy Interventions for Abuse, Crisis, and Trauma Professor: Rebekah Byrd byrdrj@etsu.edu With Guest Lecturer & International Expert: Dr. Terry Christensen This is an intensive course in the theory and practice of play therapy as applied to children and adolescents. The course provides an overview of the basic processes of play therapy as well as providing practice with clients in a play therapy room. The course is led by an ETSU faculty member with guest presenter, Dr. Terry Christensen. This course is open to all who might work with children, including early childhood educators, and teacher education students; school, community agency, and marriage and family counseling students; child care professionals and teachers; and day care providers.
