Asylum seekers – The real situation in the UK

Read this story You are about to sit your GCSEs. I decide that you have to sit your GCSEs in Swedish and not English. You can't speak Swedish. You and your friends decide to protest about this as you do not think that it is fair. The police arrest you for demonstrating. They tie you to the back of a lorry and drag you through the town to persuade others from protesting. They put you in prison and torture you. They attack your family and leave you deaf from the beatings.

Would you want to go to a safe place? Questions: How would you feel? Would you want to go to a safe place? What do you think about the people in the safe country who say things like: “Kick em out. They shouldn't come over, no chance.”

Listen to the documentary and answer the quetsions.
