The movie is about penguins. MOVIE CLIP EXPLANATION The movie is about penguins. The opening scene of the movie shows a snow and ice covered continent, with hundreds of emperor penguins gathered to begin mating season. Penguins are animals. Emperor penguins (EP) are multicellular organisms with feathers and a spine. These characteristics suggest that EPs are eukaryotic, vertebrate organisms; and as birds, are most likely are members of Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Chordata, and Class Aves.

The movie takes place in the tundra. MOVIE CLIP EXPLANATION The movie takes place in the tundra. The opening scene of the movie shows a snow and ice covered continent, with hundreds of emperor penguins gathered to begin mating season. Penguins like the cold and the tundra is a cold biome. The snow and ice covered continent suggests that the temperature in this region is extremely low. Also emperor penguins are native to Antarctica. Together, the presence of ice and penguins supports the idea that this film takes place in a tundra or ice desert biome.

That’s sexual reproduction. MOVIE CLIP EXPLANATION The penguin has an egg. The opening scene of the movie shows a snow and ice covered continent, with hundreds of emperor penguins gathered to begin mating season. That’s sexual reproduction. Mating involves male and female members of a species, and is an example of sexual reproduction. Once the female’s egg is fertilized by the male’s sperm, the cells will undergo meiosis to grown and divide; eventually creating a new organism.
