INTRODUCTION TO PERSONAL FITNESS METEA VALLEY PHYSICAL EDUCATION

WHAT IS PERSONAL FITNESS? This unit will provide you with the proper and necessary knowledge to create fitness related goals which you will be able to attain through designing and completing a Personalized Fitness Program. Personal Fitness will also allow you the opportunity to better understand and implement a variety of Fitness Components into your Personalized Fitness Program.

Examples of Fitness Related Goals I am going to lose 10 lbs. by January 30th by doing 30 minutes of cardio every day and starting a smarter, healthier diet. I am going to increase my free throw percentage by 10% before next season by shooting 100 free throws over the summer. I am going to add 25 lbs. to my bench press before July by lifting weights 5 days a week and increasing my protein intake
