Outside Area The outside Area is an extension of our classrooms and we open it up all day everyday regardless of the weather. We have a big ‘messy area’ where trays are filled with sand, water, pasta, rice, corn flour, glitter and lots of other fun sensory textures. We do have spare pairs of wellington boots, but if you would like to send some in for your child for the winter months that would be great.

Tapestry Tapestry is an online learning journal. It was designed to fit within the EYFS framework to allow staff to create a complete record of a child’s progress. It can be thought of as an online scrapbook with observations, recordings, assessments, pictures, comments and video’s of your child’s progress and activities.

Donation Tree Our tree is covered in lovely things we really need to make Cippenham Infant School a fun and exciting place. To help us is as easy as 1-2-3 1. Take a leaf off the tree. 2. Take your leaf home. 3. Bring the leaf and the donation into school.   Thank you for all your support

Birthdays Due to allergies, we can no longer give out any form of treat for children’s birthdays. Birthdays will be celebrated in our weekly ‘ celebration’ assemblies.

Free School Meals All children are entitled to a free school lunch until they leave Year 2 at present. There is another category of Free School Meals which gives some reductions in school. If you receive Income Support or Income Based Jobseeker's allowance, please register at the school office.

Thank you for your understanding. Photographs We may have some children in the school who would be at serious risk if their photograph was to appear on social media, so we ask that you help us to protect these children by not taking any photographs or videos during any of our assemblies or concerts. We will make time at the end of these events when you are welcome to take photographs of your own child. Please do not post any photographs to social media sites as other children may be in the photographs and their parents may not wish for their child’s picture to be posted online or they may be one of the pupils at risk. Thank you for your understanding.

Pupil Progress Meetings Tuesday 7th November Tuesday 6th March Only one day for pupil progress meetings, school will close and all children must be picked up at 2:15pm. Pupil Progress Meetings – 2:30 – 8:00pm 10 minutes per child. Sign up sheet outside each class.
