Presentation transcript:

Technology Tools for Teamwork Utilize the attached DCON Template to create a presentation in order to educate members on how to efficiently manage their time Feel free to refer to the RTC PowerPoint! Do's: Minimize "text drops" -- present information concisely; large paragraphs are not appealing Do not include unnecessary information Format: bold, italicize, underline, etc. whenever necessary When using images, please use clear images Consider the audience: make sure you are inclusive and interactive-- maintain their attention! Leave enough time for the audience to settle in at the beginning and answer questions at the end: remember, each session time is 30 minutes Follow Graphic Standards Do Not's Have small font Have clashing colors Use excessive formatting (example: BEE an EFFECTIVE Leader) Rely too heavily on graphics Create an unappealing PowerPoint: think about what you would like to see in a workshop District Convention 2017 Rebeca Gasper, Division 16 South Lt. Governor Elect Louise Panaligan, Division 16 South President Julia Choi, Division 16 South Vice President
