Tender notice for smart road of 23 km length to be published on 21/12/16. Tender for all roads of ABD will be published phasewise. (b) Redevelopment of street and junctions for which designs have already been prepared. It will be part of RFP as shown above (a) (c) Performance based contracts for management of smart water supply systems DPR under preparation for comprehensive 24x7 water supply in ABD area. RFP to be invited shortly. (d) Integrated control and command centre having all the modules. Inaugurated as Quick-win project on 25 June, 2016.
Projects- Core infrastructure: Surat Core Sector Status Smart Water (Performance based contracts) - 24x7 water supply with management contract DPR preparation in progress. RFP will be invited shortly. Sanitation - Street Sweepage Surat city is selected as 6th most cleanest city in India. Surat city is declared as first ODF city in Gujarat state. - Integrated SWM - Dumping site restoration - Smart Waste Collection System (Underground dustbins in ABD area) DPR Completed. RFP stage. RFP will be published till 27-12-2016. Waste Water Recycling 40 MLD Tertiary Treatment Plant (TTP) already operational in Surat since 2014. - Additional Tertiary treatment plant planned under Smart city DPR Stage Smart Railway Station For re-development of Surat Railway Station to International Standards and to create MMTH, MoU signed between IRSCD, GSRTC and SMC on 17-08-2016 in the presence of Honorable Railway Minister and Dy. Chief Minister of Gujarat. RFQ invited by IRSDC and last date till 13/12/2016.
