Strategies For Coping With Anger & Anxiety 1 Think Positive! By replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts, the anxious, fearful and angry feelings can be kept at bay. 2 “Mindful” Deep Breathing can help keep you calm! 3 Muscle Tension and Relaxation! (Stress Balls, Yoga, Meditation, etc.) 4 Scaling! Putting the situation into perspective may help to decline fear/anger. Realization that this situation is not as serious as once imagined. 5 Praise yourself! Be proud of yourself and what you have accomplished!
