Seatbelt Law Motorists with GDL license or permit must use seatbelts as well as require all passengers to wear them Seatbelts prevent: Stop from being thrown from vehicle Slow the body down with the vehicle Keep a motorist from sliding on the seat http://www.wimp.com/seatbelt/

Seatbelts & Car Seats Use both lap & shoulder belts Child Restraint Law: Children up to age 8 or weigh 80 lbs. must ride in a safety or booster in the rear seat If there is no rear seat the child must sit in the front seat secured Failure to comply = $54 fine and court costs

Air Bags Air bags inflate at speeds up to 200 mph!
