Level 1 and Level 2 : Draft Statistical Business Process Model Level 1 and Level 2 of Thailand NSO Draft Statistical Business Process Model (similar to GSBPM version 4.0 – April 2009)

Level 2 and Level 3 : Draft Statistical Business Process Model Sub-Process 3.6 Finalize Production Systems

Draft Good Statistical Practice Guideline (GSP) Statistical Act 2007 Cabinet Statistical Master Plan Technical Advisory Board NSS Development Board Sectoral Statistics Sub-Committees/ Provincial Committee Sectoral Statistical Development Plan/ Provincial Statistics Development Plan Annual Report OS (with responsible agencies) QA / Standard/ GSP (GSBPM) Summary Annual Report Set of Official Statistics Workshop / Working Group

Current work and experiences The draft model; process maps and work flows, and draft GSP are under development as there are more processes and detail in each process in GSBPM than in existing statistical business process model. Some terms of GSBPM are difficult to understand and translate to native language (Thai). Most people are still familiar with existing statistical business process model because it has fewer processes and less complicated than GSBPM.

Future Work  NSO will create an enterprise architecture by finalizing the draft statistical business process model integrated with a statistical metadata system. Moreover, the GSIM (UNECE, 2012) will be considered to implement.
