Enrollment Classes are typically 16 weeks for fall and spring semesters. Summer semester is a full semester and not for make-up classes. Enrollment for the spring semester begins November 17th. How do I get enrolled? You will need an advisor. ACTS – undecided, Bachelor of General Studies, Health Science Business emphasis, and Bachelor of Applied Science and Para Legal certificate.
Dropping One Class If you want to drop one class after the 2nd week of school, you must pick up a withdrawal slip in the Registrar’s Office (Hearnes Hall). You need at least 3 signatures: your advisor or professor, financial aid, and the bookstore then return the completed form to the Registrar’s Office by the due date-Nov 4th. Pay attention to dates—you have a limited amount of time to drop and it could affect your financial aid. Please see your advisor first!
Dropping One Class cont’d September 2nd –last day to drop a class with a full refund. September 16th –last day to drop a class with 50% refund. After this date-NO REFUND! November 4th –last day to withdraw from a class with a ‘w’.
Withdrawing From College If you wish to drop ALL of your classes, you must complete a withdrawal form which is found in the Financial Aid Office. This will affect your financial aid. December 5th—Last day for complete withdrawal with all “W’s”.
Weather If the weather gets bad, will they cancel classes?

ACTS Advising, Counseling, Testing Services The primary goal of the Advising, Counseling and Testing Services (ACTS) department is to promote the student's academic and personal development. Services are provided for individuals with educational, academic, personal and social concerns. Experienced professional staff and licensed mental health counselors provide individual counseling for academic, career and short-term personal concerns as well as offer a variety of tests, inventories and referral services.
