Pal Szekeres Wheelchair Fencing - Paralympics Country Hungary Date of birth Medal tally 22 September 1964 3 gold, 3 bronze Pal Szekeres has won medals in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. His journey to the top started back in 1988, when he won bronze at the Olympic Games in Seoul in the Team Foil event. In 1991 he was injured in an accident, suffering serious spinal damage, but recovered to win gold at the Wheelchair Fencing Championships that same year. Barcelona 1992 saw Szekeres clinch the Paralympic gold medal in the Individual Foil, before he went one better at Atlanta 1996 and picked up two golds. Szekeres then won Individual bronze medals at three successive Paralympic Games, including a place on the podium on his 40th birthday at Athens 2004. http://www.london2012.com/paralympics/athletes/famous-olympians/athlete=pal-szekeres/

Arnold Boldt Athletics - Paralympics Country Canada Date of birth Medal tally 16 September 1957 7 gold, 1 silver Arnold Boldt rewrote the history books during an astonishing career that saw him win Athletics gold medals at five successive Paralympic Games. He first emerged at the Toronto 1976 Games, winning the High Jump D and Long Jump D events by huge margins. His superiority was again on display at the Arnhem 1980 Games, where he won the High Jump D – setting a new world record in the process – and doubled up once more to take gold in the Long Jump D event. Another High Jump gold arrived at the New York/Stoke Mandeville 1984 Games in the A2 class, before he repeated this success in the A2A9 class at Seoul 1988, as well as claiming a Long Jump A2A9 silver. Barcelona 1992 saw him win his final gold medal in the High Jump A1, bringing the curtain down on an illustrious Paralympic Games career. http://www.london2012.com/paralympics/athletes/famous-olympians/athlete=arnold-boldt/
