How Do Students Benefit from Starfish? Receive early alert warnings on attendance, performance, and progress in a course on a regular basis. Emails from Starfish include links to college services. Receive Kudos from instructor after performing well on a test or activity Megan's role provides a go-to person, in addition to the course instructor, for advice on where to access Columbus State resources. Raising Items Instructors or designated others can send flags and kudos to students in three ways: System-raised (not logging-in, low grade, missing assignments, repeated course) Electronic survey at strategic times throughout the semester At any time through Blackboard.

What Are Surveys? EXAMPLE You will receive an email reminding you to complete a progress survey for your courses. Simply check the appropriate boxes and click Submit to raise flags. EXAMPLE
