What is Jurisdiction? The right to hear a case and make a decision

Jurisdiction? Original Appellate The power of a court to hear a case before any other court. Appellate The power of a court to review the decisions of a lower court.

What types of cases are heard in Federal Courts? Cases over which the Constitution gives them authority.
