This lesson will examine the importance of inspections and evaluations.

Lesson Objectives Explain the difference between an inspection and an evaluation. Explain the purpose of an inspection. Explain the purpose of an evaluation. Explain the importance of standards. Relate inspections and evaluations to personal career growth. Example:

The PES primarily supports the Commandant’s efforts to select the best-qualified personnel for promotion, command, and duty assignments. Example:
