I.Embracing People as People

Generic Needs for All Human Persons 1. Love – Love people into God’s kingdom cf.1 Jn. 4. 8; 1 Cor. 13. eg. Research on Muslim conversions and retention. 2. Acceptance – The Power of Inclusion Points of contact as fellow- human beings with social needs. eg. Good neighbourliness especially to migrants.

3. Friendships – Workplace, Sports & Recreation etc. eg. Sports evangelism. Wedding functions etc.

4. Situational – Crises eg. family, disasters etc. eg. Personal involvement. Relief efforts.

5. Social Concerns – Education & Health eg. Catholics in Bhutan CBM in China BF – schools for persecuted Christians etc REAP – Gospel and Disaster Relief.

II. Embracing Peoples of Major Religions Bloc The Muslim Bloc (1.6 billion) vs. Christians (2.2 billion) AGR – 1.9% vs 1.2% (Evangelicals – 2.5%) North Africa, Middle East, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey etc.
