Is Strathmore a Catholic School? Strathmore is NOT a confessional school: Not owned by the Catholic Church Not managed by the Catholic Church The spiritual formation of students, teachers and parents is entrusted to Opus Dei, a prelature of the Catholic Church.
What is Opus Dei? St. Josemaria Escriva
Opus Dei is a Latin Phrase which means “Work of God.” A Personal Prelature in the Catholic Church. Its mission is to spread the message that all Christians are called by God to seek holiness in and through their daily work, family life and social relations. To help people carry out this message, Opus Dei offers specialized pastoral care through classes, talks, spiritual direction, retreats, etc.

Charity: taking care of the needs of our neighbours and inculcating a family atmosphere. Living unity of life: integrity, simplicity, sincerity.
