Together Everyone Achieves More Here is an acronym that embodies the purpose of teamwork. Teamwork is shared responsibility. With a group working toward the same goal, tasks are able to be distributed and assigned. This allows for efficiency as not only is time saved but diverse ideas can be shared and implemented. What is Communication? Verbal- Face-to-face, Phone Calls Written- Emails, Texts (Group Chats) Nonverbal- Body Language, Gestures, Appearance Communication takes many forms. It is through communication that one can build a strong team. Whether it be through either of the forms, when communicating, one must remain professional. (3 min)

Professionalism & SafeKey As a leader you must lead by example Refrain from using profanity and inappropriate or rude comments Builds your character in a positive way Be respectful of yourself and others Uphold your self-image You represent the school, the club, the division, AND Key Club as an organization Professionalism in groups is important as you are all one team and seen as a whole. The credibility of your group is determined by each member and how they portray themselves. Whether it be online or in person, lasting impressions matter. (3 min)

Effective Teamwork Communication is KEY Benefits the group overall Stay in contact, let others know you care Benefits the group overall Helps generate more diverse ideas Keeps the team connected Time-efficiently on tasks **Photo of: McNair Key Club First step to a successful group effort is effective communication! When talking about the first bullet, emphasize how communication lets your partner/ board/ group know you are interested in staying in contact with each other. Keeping in contact lets the group have easier accessibility to each other, and to share ideas. Rather than waiting for the next time you see them, keeping in touch makes it easier to work faster and overall benefit the team! (3 min) 5
