Venetoklion 3rd Gymnasium of Rhodes, Greece, is a General Education school. Almost 400 students aged from twelve to fifteen attend our school,while a number of 45 teachers teach different subjects of general education such as Ancient and Modern Greek Language, History, Religion, Mathematics, Technology, Science, Chemistry, Computers, Music, Sociology, Foreign languages and Sports.

Eventhough it is not a Sports School it has special sport classes which follow a semi-sport programme. In other words the students who attend the sport classes train cycling, judo or basketball - according to which sport they have chosen - every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for three hours in the morning and then they join the general education programme.

Among our students there are some special cases which give it the chance to enrich its programme.There are deaf students as well as disabled ones who have mobility problems. There are also foreign students whose families have emigrated to Greece because of financial problems. The above mentioned students are really a challenge to the school itself as it has to do its best to accomplish its target and incorporate all these different and difficult cases in its system. Students graduating from Venetoklion 3rd Gymnasium of Rhodes are registered in either of the two types of upper secondary school without exams or limits.
