Distinguishing Characteristics Tropical Rainforest has more kinds of trees than any other area in the world. The temperatures can get higher than 93 degrees and drop to 68 degrees.

Climate An average of 50 to 260 inches of rain in a year. Tropical Rainforest belong to the tropical wet climate groups. Because of its location near the equator, tropical rainforests are hot, hot, hot! Because of all of the rain, it is also very humid.

Animals *Many species of animals life can be found in the rain forest. *Many of the animals have made adaptations to be able to live in the trees. *Other characteristics are bright colors, loud vocal calls, and diets of mainly fruit.

Wonderers A tropical rain forest has more kinds of trees then any other place in the world. About ¼ of are all the medicines we use come from the rainforest plants. Also the rain forest have plants that live there for millions of years. There are about 3000 plants species in the rainforest.
