Dates to Know: (Paper copy available) Holiday Band/Choir Concert- Sunday, December 18th 2:00 p.m. District Chorus- January 12-14, 2017 Region Chorus- February 23-25, 2017 Universal Studios Orlando Field Trip (Optional) March 29th-April 3rd All Choir After School Rehearsals: (Approx. 2:30-4:30) October 18th, November 10th, December 8th, December 16th, March 14th, April 11th, May 4th Spring Choral Festival- Friday, May 4th 2017 7:00 Tentative Hershey Trip for Ensembles- Friday, May 12th 2017 Full Day

Field Trip to Orlando (paper available) Dates: Wednesday March 29- Monday April 3 Cost: Approx. $995 Payment Dates: October 10- $350 December 12- $350 February 13- $295 Informational Meeting: Monday, Sept. 12 @ 7:00 p.m. Auditorium Destination- Universal Studios, Sea World, and Art of Foley Workshop.

Performance Attire To enhance the professionalism of the choir, students will be responsible for obtaining the following performance attire: Ladies –Black dress, minimum short sleeves and knee length. Black shoes. Inappropriate dress sent home. Gentlemen – Black button down collared shirt. Black pants. Black shoes, no sneakers. Red or Green tie for Holiday Concert, Bright solid colored tie for Spring Concert

Fun Facts: Record number this year of 155! Splitting into two groups: Beginning Concert Choir/ Concert Choir Performing together Upperclassmen can enroll in both for leadership opportunities Our first performance is a September 11th remembrance ceremony.

Congratulations Ensembles Our advanced ensembles had the following awards at last year’s competition: Choral Ensemble- First Place in their division Bella Voce- First Place in their division and First Place over all Our choir received the esteemed Esprit de Corps award for outstanding behavior and respect throughout the day.

Help Set the Tone for a Great Year… Promote our concerts (they are free) Encourage your child to be in our musical Encourage your child to do PMEA Suggest joining the Relay for Life Team Encourage them to practice at home and be comfortable with their voice.
