GOALS from Strategic Plan GOALS from Strategic Plan (Identified steps, supports, outcome and data needed) A positive image of the value of Career and Technical Education will be created and the need for a pool of talented CTE teachers will be recognized. Appropriate resources will be provided to support quality Career and Technical Education programs, including adequate numbers of CTE educators. Recommend processes for CTE teacher preparation credentialing to policy makers and those who make decisions in teacher licensure, reciprocal agreements and pre-service education. Assess maintaining licensure, professional development (including the use of CTE professional organizations), continuing education, mentoring and adding endorsements to help retain the CTE educators.
