SURVEY: MEASURING NIGERIA CONSUMERS EXPERIENCE IN THE DIGITAL AGE. A survey was carried out in twelve states by Save the consumers(NGO). Respondents were selected from two states from each Geo-political zone that makes up Nigeria. GOVERNMENT’S ROLE IN USHERING IN A SAFE DIGITAL NIGERIA FOR CONSUMERS Imposing sanctions and demanding fines from defaulting organizations Exposing defaulting organizations to the public through the media Training and empowering enforcement officers with requisite skills for carrying out their supervisory roles efficiently Educating consumers(at the point of deceit) Carrying out public sensitization campaigns against certain issues that will jeopardize consumer safety.
