Becoming a Doer of the Word James 1:23-25 (NKJV) 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

THE WARNING: “A Hearer” – ‘a word used for those who sat passively in an audience and listened “A Doer” – ‘one whose whole personality is engaged, all the person’s inner being of body, soul, mind and spirit are engaged.’ Matthew 22:37-40 “immediately forgets” – this is the idea of an intentional neglect to detail

Becoming a Doer of the Word Life Steps…. 1. DO The Word with all your heart, mind, body and spirit. 2. Be HONEST when you look into the Mirror of Truth. 3. There is LIBERTY the more you peer into the Perfect Law of Liberty.
