Are We Under a Law? Is law just an Old Testament concept? Logic proves that a law currently exists Sin is breaking the law (I John 3:4) All have sinned (Rom. 3:23) Therefore, there must be a law (Rom. 4:15)

Are We Under a Law? Are we under law or grace? (John 1:17) “The Law” = The Law of Moses If grace and truth are incompatible with law, the Law of Moses couldn’t have had any grace or truth Moses did not offer the fullness of grace and truth Something greater than the Law was required (Gal. 6:14) Mercy and grace are what law-breakers need, and we get it through Christ, not Moses

Are We Under a Law? Are we justified by faith or by works? (Rom. 3:28) Many Jews rejected Christ and believed they could be justified by the Law (Rom. 3:21-27) Redemption is to be received by faith in Christ Justification is by faith, and there is a “law of faith” (Rom. 3:27)

Are We Under a Law? Are we under law or led by the Spirit?
