Activities & Achievements Assisting Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka to Open the first ever “PATA Bangladesh Dhaka University Student Chapter”. Two visits of PATA CEO DR. MARIO HARDY in Bangladesh. Arranged 3 PATA Bangladesh Dhaka University Student Chapter paid internship at PATA HQ in Bangkok. 1 internship already completed. Assist in setting up a E-Library to facilitate Tourism Studies & Research with the help of other PATA members at University of Dhaka. Yet to be completed. PATA BANGLADESH CHAPTER

Continue….. Eight ( 8 ) visits of chapter members to PATA HQ to discuss various ongoing issues. Elected for the first ever 2 board of directors and 3 industry council members. Received first ever award on PATA NextGen Engagement . Six ( 6 ) individuals attended Human Capital Development (HCD) Program in Bangkok and Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute organized by PATA. Received scholarship for 2 weeks course in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Hawaii , USA. PATA BANGLADESH CHAPTER

Continue….. Arranged a donation of USD 10000 from PATA Foundation to Palli Baul Sangstha for preservation of Baul Culture. Chapter regularly participated celebrating World Tourism Day and International Mother Language Day. Chapter participated Pahela Boishakh Rally and Children Art Competition with Dhaka Regency. Jointly Organized by Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort and Chapter a CSR program on “Basic health hygienic, grooming and customer relation” day long training program to 25 employees of small size hotel and restaurant of Nikunja area followed by certification handover attended by restaurant owners. PATA BANGLADESH CHAPTER

Continue….. Jointly organized by Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort , Shishu Polli Plus (SPP) and Chapter a CSR activity on Fund raising program named “ The Night of Hope”. Attended two ( 2 ) times at Sichuan International Tourism Expo. Each time 5 chapter members attended. All at the expenses of PATA China Chapter. First Ever PATA NEW TOURISM FRONTIERS FORUM-2016 at Cox’s Bazar on 23-25, November this year jointly organized by BTB and PATA HQ. Participated PATA CEO Challenge competition focusing Sylhet as a new tourism destination. All though we didn’t qualify but trip advisor will promote Sylhet globally. PATA BANGLADESH CHAPTER
