Where Do You Go After Church In Antioch? Acts 11:19-30

Where Do You Go After Church In Antioch? Look at the map, which Antioch?

Where Do You Go After Church In Antioch? Antioch is an ancient ‘sin city’. NOT Pisidian Antich, later the gospel is spread there in Acts 13:13ff. The church in Jerusalem heard of the church in Antioch, and sent Barnabas... …and it grew there under him! THEN… Barnabas went to Tarsus to find Saul to help him… and found him. Worldwide implications: Saul became the greatest evangelist in the world.

Where Do You Go After Church In Antioch? Saul ‘went into the game’ bringing the gospel to Gentiles. They worked in Antioch a ‘whole year.’ The disciples were first called “Christians” at Antioch. The believers had no reason to label themselves “Christians”. It was ‘joking’, ‘mocking’… yet lives were changed… drastically!

Where Do You Go After Church In Antioch? Agabus prophesied a famine. The church took an offering for those in need, like our World Renew (was CRWRC) Where do you go after church? Into your community filled with God’s love! Go into the world in the name of Jesus! AND THEY SENT MISSIONARIES!!! They gave generously to spread the gospel! We must redouble our efforts to give generously to the work of the kingdom!
