‘Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding: Chapter 3 Lesson Objectives: to explore character and plot development to explore the characters of Simon and Piggy in more detail

Imagine … You are Piggy. You are watching the boys and see that they need boundaries and rules. Write down your thoughts and feelings about events on the island so far. 15 minutes

“The first thing we ought to have made was shelters down there by the beach. It wasn’t half cold down there in the night.” Piggy page 45 What does this reveal about Piggy’s character? Answer this question using the quotation above (or part of it) in a PEE paragraph.
