Competition 1 time…… Increase your knowledge about waste and recycling. Outside from Monday next week there will be a fact finding mission in the KS2 playground. Collect a form from an ECO member and hunt the hidden pictures to answer the questions. There will be stickers/certificates for taking part, and prizes for the winners.

Upcycling This year waste week is all about ‘upcycling’ Have a look at these slides which show how things have been ‘upcycled’ (changed to become something else)

Upcycling wellies!

Upcycling

Up cycled things

Can you upcycle something? Can you make an upcycled item and bring it to school on Thursday 27th April to enter it into our competition? As many of the parts of the item as possible should be recycled, but you may use glue, sellotape, string etc. as well. There will be stickers and a certificate for everyone who enters, and prizes for the winners.
