FIRST CALL Tips & Tricks

First Call Goal The goal of any demo is to have it end with an EVAL commitment Use the method you (and your manager) are comfortable with Demo Slides? Live Portal? Product/CPS Support? If you need assistance, knowledge transfer is key Environment, agenda, participants, requirements, special needs NOT 5 minutes before the call is scheduled

General Tips Discovery, Discovery, Discover Understand prospects needs Demo Conversation based on Discovery is KEY! No iOS? Don’t waste time talking about it… Lotus Notes or GMAIL? Exchange & auto-quarantine is not relevant PRACTICE and have a plan Whether its your slides or you go live BUT…be able to change direction based on discovery Keep it simple Talk about VALUE of the platform Keep them wanting more (increase eval chances)

Things to avoid Stay away from ad-hoc clicking Keep typing to minimum Close other apps, only share what’s needed Plug in when possible Eliminate potential WiFi delays Talk about enrollment (show via slides), don’t show it live Don’t upload content, no one wants to see all your files on your PC

Demo and Portal Etiquette 30 Min does not work if you need a live demo Scheduling product is fine, make it at least 45 min Watch List Creation Don’t Edit/Change, they are there for a reason If you do have to save something, name it accordingly “fsdfsfsxxxx” is not a good policy name Don’t add a ton of apps, docs, policies, etc… If you do….cleanup Don’t publish policy Turning off a co-workers camera is not good
