THE TARGET GROUPS Target groups ISCO Teachers/trainers in adult education: Biology Chemistry  Adult learning providers Science education ISCO 2320: Vocational Education Teachers Vocational education teachers teach or instruct vocational or occupational subjects in adult and further education institutions and to senior students in secondary schools and colleges. They prepare students for employment in specific occupations or occupational areas for which university or higher education is not normally required. Career officers, counselors, inspectors; head teachers / principals: Public health   ISCO 2423: Personnel & Careers Professionals Personnel and careers professionals provide professional business services related to personnel policies such as employee recruitment or development, occupational analysis and vocational guidance.  ISCO 2424: Training and Staff Development Professionals Training and staff development professionals plan, develop, implement and evaluate training and development programmes to ensure management and staff acquire the skills and develop the competencies required by organizations to meet organizational objectives.  ISCO 1345 Education Managers Education managers plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the educational and administrative aspects of education services, primary and secondary schools, colleges and faculties and departments in universities and other educational institutions.  ISCO 2351 Education Methods Specialists Education methods specialists conduct research and develop or advise on teaching methods, courses and aids. THE TARGET GROUPS Target groups ISCO Education manager and other management staff in adult training institutions; non-teaching administrative staff: Management Economics   ISCO 1345 Education Managers Education managers plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the educational and administrative aspects of education services, primary and secondary schools, colleges and faculties and departments in universities and other educational institutions.  ISCO 2421: Management and Organization Analysts Management and organization analysts assist organizations to achieve greater efficiency and solve organizational problems. They study organizational structures, methods, systems and procedures. THE MODULAR TRAINING FRAMEWORK: BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT LOs’ KNOWLEDGE PART   Summary LO3: GMMs in food production and safety  Brief prologue considering genetic modification (GM) in global food industry and world GM technology policy; Definitions concerning the nature and safety of genetically modified foods. Different classifications regarding the food and food ingredients produced by means of GMMs; The general principles of safety assessment of GMMs in food; Tools for elaboration of the assessment procedure for safety evaluation of GMM food; Elements, which should be taken into account in safety assessment; Information on risks for human health imposed by genetically modified foods’ and approaches for risk assessment; Safety aspects specific to GMMs; An overview of molecular methods applied for control of genetically modified foods; Emphasis to the approaches for assessment of gene transfer, genetic stability and microbial pathogenicity.
