Step 1 – Load your data into DB2 You must “unload” the data from your system into flat files. The structure must be tabular. If that functionality is not available within your system, you need a programmer writing a program (REXX) to do that. Typically there are reports, lists etc. with the desired data. You must create a DB2 table with a structure reflecting your data. Finally you must “load” your tabular flat file into DB2. Repeat the “unload” and the “load” step every day to actualize your data.
