Teacher Centers Teacher Center A grant funded program designed to provide high quality, impactful professional growth opportunities for teachers, administrators, and support staff in support of New York State Learning Standards and component district goals.

What the partnership offers: A foundation to further build innovative opportunities to support student achievement. Access to low and no cost summer educational experience for students county wide. Free to districts. Each partner the ability to contribute their strengths therefore use resources effectively.

Sample schedule… July 10, 17 & 24 - Oswego City School District Half days, M-TH during the weeks of Partnership July 10, 17 & 24 - Oswego City School District July 31, Aug 7 & 14 - Central Square School District 2017 ECM Programs already scheduled as follows: Fulton – year 2 – weeks of July 10 & 17 SUNY Oswego Campus – weeks of August 7 & 14 Full days, M-F

Proposed Partnership Structure has the potential to: •Deliver innovative, high quality, high impact learning opportunities that translate into improved professional practice and student learning outcomes. •Improve access to educational and survival resources for low income families. •Work to improve student achievement through a low stakes learning environment by: Targeting - student interests, experiential learning, social engagement, thinking and problem solving skills, and FUN! Developing background knowledge and joy in learning! Providing opportunities to reduce summer learning loss. Poverty is the single most important issue to address in Oswego County.
