Research proposal Introduction Interior design is an interesting profession that has become famous in the current world. Interior design can be defined as a concept that deals with planning and realization of interior spaces and all the elements within the space.

Research proposal Purpose statement Interior design is a subject that has had variety of misperceptions. People perceive interior design as creative but not professional. Others perceive it as a concept that lead to development in the society. The purpose of this research is to explore the use of interior design as an investment.

Research proposal Research rational Research has been done concerning the profession of interior design. The concept of interior design is wide and has not been fully explored. There is more information needed to explain more about interior design.

Research proposal Research questions How does interior design contribute to Economic development? What are the benefits of interior design for individuals? What are some of the perceptions of people concerning interior design? What are the problems facing the interior design industry? What are the possible solutions in the interior design industry?

Research proposal Methodology This research will use the sampling method. The people to be sampled are those who are involved directly and indirectly in the interior design industry.

It was conducted with 50 people, men and women of different ages and fields. - Do you trust the interior designer? - Do you think there is a relationship between interior design and investment? - Do you think that the interior designer protects your investment? - Do you think designer will help you to execute your vision for your project? - Do you think solid relationship that built on listening, give and take, frankness and willingness to be open to ideas (between projects owners and designer) will create the best possible outcome? - Do you think that your project succeed faster if you designed by yourself or if you hired interior designer to do the job? - Do you think that hiring with interior designer saves your time and money?

Some of them spend money rather than invest it” - Sadiqa 44, mother, said “I prefer to deal with interior designer to invest my money – I use part of my house for the tailoring shop, that is help me to invest my money and time” - Naif 36 – Lawyer, said “There is no chance of cheating. I am lawyer. So, I will hire with interior designer to invest my time and money” - Samya 31 – Doctor, said “I need to hire interior designer because I don’t have enough time. Interior designer will help me to invest my time and money”

The questions can be many, complex and confusing. A professional interior designer will protect your investment.
