40 Years Old RWIEF celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2016. To mark the occasion, RWIEF & IRWA created a new scholarship program. RWIEF will fund; IRWA will manage. Program rolls out in 2017. Details will be posted on the RWIEF and IRWA websites.

Forty For Forty Launching Careers Scholarship Scholarships for 40 individuals pursuing RWA or RWP designations. Two recipients from each region and balance from members throughout IRWA. Recipients must have been members in good standing for at least one year. RWIEF will fund program for three years, committing up to $185,000.

$1,800,000 Endowed Foundation endowed approximately $1.8 million in education over 40 years! Courses in appraisal, communications, engineering, environment, ethics, law, management, negotiations and regulatory issues keep your skill sets sharp. Eleven Leadership Institute modules (free to members) provide management and leadership skills to advance your career.

Monday Night Event Event showcases area while attendees network and fundraise for both Foundations, a win/win for all parties. Conference hosts considered several venues; all were at very high ticket costs, even with the offset of sponsor aid. It became evident that per person costs would be difficult, particularly given travel time and costs to come to Alaska.

Monday Night Event After much consideration, event planners felt it best to clear the Monday evening calendar, providing attendees time to explore the area on their own. The Host Committee and Foundations respectfully request you not forget supporting the Foundations and consider making a donation at the Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday.
