Overview and benefits The Challenge for small deals is “speed to market'.” Small deal customers demand rapid contract turnaround. IBM Business Partners require rapid pricing and contract generation. The Solution is S2 – Simplified Services. The S2 – Simplified Services tool is a Web based tool that addresses this problem for select pre-approved, pre-priced service products. It empowers each seller to configure, generate the service contract requested by the customer, within minutes, without having to obtain additional approvals. The Benefits of this volume-based contracting tool are productivity improvements and growth potential. General S2 page Introduction – Explains the basic function of S2 Catalogue - provides access to the offerings available in a selected country Education - Links are provided for education files that you can download. This can also be found on the HELP tab in the tool Registration –You must register here before you can take advantage of S2. https://www.ibm.com/services/projects/wse/s2-open for users not yet registered in S2 Back to agenda (page 2)

Catalogue tab The Catalogue tab provides access to the offerings available in the selected country. The information is an all-inclusive list of countries but is not filtered by role since the user is not registered. You will access the catalogue information through the S2 welcome page and it will be filtered by country and business partner designation. Back to agenda (page 2)

Education tab The Education tab provides you with information and education about S2. Links are provided for education files that you can download outside of S2. Back to agenda (page 2)

Registration tab Select the role of BP Enter your User ID. and sub-role Input your IBM ID, such as: paulmc@sgniw.com Select Countries. You can pick multiple countries by holding the CTRL key while selecting. This will set the only country catalogs you can access when you use S2. Fill in BP contact details. - Full name - Email - Phone Note: The name, email, and phone will appear on contracts. You can input this data or override it on the S2 page. Click Submit Registration to submit. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your registration Back to agenda (page 2)

Now that you’re registered, let’s get started Once you are a registered user, you access S2 through this main page: https://www.ibm.com/services/projects/wse/s2 Note: Please save this URL to your browser favorites to access S2 in the future. You can see the navigation options highlighted on the upper left of the screen. Note the HELP Section for education and product specific training. To begin, select New Contract in the upper left navigation. Choose your country. Back to agenda (page 2)

New Contract: View Offerings Catalog If you choose View Offerings catalog the Offerings Catalog window is displayed. Note: The View Offerings catalog link presents a popup window which shows whether S2 supports upload from e-Config for a particular product. The catalog shows configured and non-configured products. The information is filtered by the country you previously selected and by your role. S2 shows list prices in your country’s currency for configured products. It shows N/A in the list price column for configured products because their list price depends on the configuration you produce in e-config. Back to agenda (page 2)

New Contract: Product Selection First you will see three options for Product Selection: Manual from S2 list boxes Upload of e-Config CFReport Contracts repository Note:We will explore these options in this presentation. We will look at Manual from S2 list boxes first. Next if a contract type is not pre-selected, based on your role and country settings, you will need to select it: Reseller or Prime Bidder (if enabled in your country). Then you will need to enter the End Customer Number. This is the number IBM assigns to the Business Partner’s (BPs) customer. Note: End customer number lookup enabled for some countries. New Contract – Add a new offering Now you will add an offering selecting the following information: - Brand/SPL - Offering name - Spec. 1 - Spec. 2 (if necessary) Once your selections are complete, click Go. Back to agenda (page 2)

New Contract The information you have selected is compiled and your New Contract screen will look like the image to the right. The Offering Details area will list the information you entered. The Selected Offerings area lists the order information. You will add the quantity to the Qty field. Then you click Add Item Go To Cart. Back to agenda (page 2)

My Cart The My Cart page is displayed. The cart shows the offering you selected as well as the offering information that was uploaded from the .cfr file. Then there are four options available to continue: - Update selected - Remove selected - Add new offering(s) This allows you to add new offerings. Note: Do not use New Contract to add new offerings; you will lose the data that is currently stored. - Generate contract This option will take you to the Checkout page Generate contract is selected for this presentation Back to agenda (page 2)

Checkout The Checkout window is displayed. This screen and the next will show the details of the Checkout window. The fields whose headers have a red asterisk [*] are mandatory. The end customer number and BP customer number are read-only. If you recognize an incorrect number you will need to back up to the New Contract page and re-enter the correct number. From this screen you have the following options: Return to Cart: Do not click the New Contract link in the left navigation bar or you will lose the information you have entered. Use the Return to Cart option. Preview Contract: A draft that lets you see the contract with a watermark. Not intended for final use. Finalize Contract: This is not a draft. It contains a contract number when you are ready to go forward. Back to agenda (page 2)

Confirmation The Confirmation page is the final page of S2 processing and shows the Schedule ID that has been applied (number highlighted on the right). It lets you view the contracts that S2 has processed in .pdf format. The Contracts Online (COL) information fields may not be visible (enabled) for the country you are using. If they are enabled you can input your COL ID or organization ID and click the COL link. S2 then initiates a push of the unsigned S2 documents in to COL and then allows the business partner to locate the S2 documents in the imported transaction menu in COL. Back to agenda (page 2)

If your Service Offering requires a configuration for pricing, the you can Upload the e-Config CFReport into S2 Let’s look at how to load an e-Config file. You begin by selecting the Upload e-Config CFReport option. Then click Load eConfig File. Tthe Upload File window is displayed. The file upload allows you to transmit the configuration of service products that you defined in e-Config to S2. You can pick the e-Config (.cfr) file you wish to upload from your computer by either typing in the path and file or clicking Browse. Note: When you find the file, click Load to upload it. My Cart As before, the My Cart window with the data from the .cfr file is displayed – including quantity and pricing. Again, there are four options available to continue to update or add to your cart: - Update selected - Remove selected - Add new offering(s) - Generate contract Note: If you have put one or more offerings in your cart you can return to the My cart page using the link in the left navigation area. Contracts repository The third option for Product Selection is Contracts repository. First you select Contracts repository. Then click the Contract templates arrow for the dropdown menu and make a selection and then click Go. Next, the My Cart page displays and from there select Generate Contract and go to Checkout. All the data you previously entered will be there – if you had previously edited it before, you can edit it again and vice versa. Next, we’ll look a the two other options in the navigation area: Previews Contracts Back to agenda (page 2)

Previews and Contracts The Previews and Contracts views allow you to view contract documents that S2 generated in its Checkout page. With Previews you are able to access the draft contracts you generate when you choose Preview Contract. With Contracts you are able to access the final contracts you generate when you choose Finalize Contract. You can click on Proposal reference field in both Previews and Contracts to display the Checkout page. Note: The Checkout page accessed from the Contracts page is not editable. Each view allows you to see a subset of the documents. You can change data you had previously entered in fields of the Checkout page, as needed, and then finalize the contract. The Contracts view has one extra field: Contract number. S2 assigns the S2 Schedule ID number when you select Finalize Contract. Back to agenda (page 2)

User groups – Registration The User group function is available in S2. You must be a registered S2 user. First you will need to register as a user group administrator (Group Admin). The data that you input is the same as for regular registration except that you need to input your IBM Business Partner Country enterprise ID. After your registration request is processed, you sign in to S2 in the standard manner. You’ll see the Group admin role available for selection. Back to agenda (page 2)

User groups – Group admin Once you have selected the Group admin role you can view or begin adding a user group. First you will select User groups from the left navigation area. If you have previously created a user group it will be displayed and you can select and edit it. If you need to add a user group then you will select New user group from the left navigation area. For this presentation it is assumed you are adding an initial new user group. To add a user group you need to Select a country, add a User group name, add e-mail ID’s (according to the directions on the screen), and then click Save. Back to agenda (page 2)

User groups – Members As a member of a group you will use S2 in the normal way. On the Checkout page you have the option to choose to make your work visible to one or more of the groups that you are a member of. Make no selection to leave your contract private Select one or more groups to make the contract visible to the group(s). If you have chosen to make your work visible to a group, other group members will see it in Contracts, Previews, and the Contract repository. Back to agenda (page 2)
