More about the volcano 1. How is a volcano formed? The rocks under the earth become hotter and hotter and erupt from the mountain.

Where is it most possible for a volcano to erupt? Near the oceans.

3. What types of volcanoes do you know? An extinct volcano A dormant volcano Haleakala Crater, the largest dormant volcano(休眠火山) in the world Maui, Hawaii An active volcano

The Kilauea volcano Let’s learn something about a famous volcano.

More information about Mount Kilauea The Kilauea volcano More information about Mount Kilauea Mount Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on Earth. “Kilauea” means “spewing(喷涌)” or “much spreading”, apparently in reference to the lava flows that it erupts. Mount Kilauea in Hawaii has erupted 62 times in 245 years. The current eruption began in January 1983 and has been going on ever since.
