WG1 Report Osiris Lander delivery Support and Science activities during Comet approach

WG1 Report WG1 considered as forum to collect/coordinate activities up to Lander Delivery This phase is under control of MOC Top priority is to ensure safe arrival at the comet and delivery of the Lander All Science is considered a “Bonus” Last part of the mission with global view on the Comet (and its Coma)! → Advantage if Science is aligned with Lander delivery support

WG1 Report WG1/MOC requested a revision-controlled document from each instrument in which Lander support and Science activities are collected → RO-RIS-MPAE-TN-062 Shall be a container for science “wish-list” in order to keep in sync with the flight-ops driven part of the prime mission

WG1 Report The idea is to build a list of observations before lander delivery, including constraints like - Distance to the Comet - Phase angle requirements - Data budget - Pointing requirements - Coordinated observations with other Instruments - etc. Important to start the collection as early as possible!
