Figure Confined cases of measles in Finland 1915–96 A two dose vaccination programme was launched in 1982. Apart from an outbreak soon after the start of vaccination, the numbers have declined until 1996, when no cases were detected. The cases reported in 1915–74 represent the average of the decade.
