Bible Reading : John 1 v41-49

Jesus looked at him and said, “Your name is Simon son of John, but you will be called Cephas.” (This is the same as Peter and means “a rock”.)

He found Philip and said to him, “Come with me!”

“We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the book of the Law…”

Jesus answered, “I saw you when you were under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

“Teacher,” answered Nathanael, “you are the Son of God “Teacher,” answered Nathanael, “you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

Heavenly Father, thank you that you don't just see us as we are now, but instead see our potential. Help us to let go and be prepared to sense your leading. You made us emotional, physical and spiritual beings- help us not to limit how we hear you. You call each of us by name  Thank you, Jesus You see our potential Thank you, Jesus

You have plans to give us a future filled with hope Thank you, Jesus You transform us Thank you, Jesus You are always with us Thank you, Jesus

And, together, we say: Lord Guide my heart with love Guide my mind with truth Guide my actions with faith Guide my soul with hope I trust in You Amen

Our father in heaven Hallowed be your name Your kingdom come, your will be done On earth as in heaven Give us today our daily bread And forgive our sins As we forgive those who sin against us Lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours Now and for ever Amen
