Get Started on the Common App now Watch Common App Overview video Go to www.commonapp.com. Create user id and password. (Use legal name) Complete the profile portion of the application.

Find your perfect fit using College Board Go to www.collegeboard.org. Create a user id and password. (You already have one if you have registered for the SAT) Use college search tab to explore more than 3800 colleges and universities. Narrow down your choices using filters

Information on Financial Aid Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available Oct. 1 at www.fafsa.gov. You will need 2015 tax return information to complete the FAFSA. Some colleges require CSS/Profile (specific to each college) Create an FSA ID now. You will need this to complete any federal financial aid paperwork. Create FSA ID here.
