Mixed Doubles Mid Winter Tournament Lexden Rackets and Fitness Club are organising a tournament using their covered courts on Sunday 1st February from 12.00 (noon). This gives a chance for players from other clubs to play in conditions not dependant upon the weather and a competitive environment at a time of year when play would not normally be possible. The tournament is open to players from clubs affiliated with the Colchester and District Tennis League. To enter please email julian.baines@ntlworld.com with the name of your club and the names of the 2 players. The format will be a league round robin followed by knock out to decide the eventual winners and runners up. Each pairing will have a minimum of 2 matches with the number of leagues/knock out games determined by the number of entrants. Full details will be sent out a week prior so all entrants need to be sent in by Friday 23rd January. Entrance fee is £5 per pairing to cover prizes, court costs and balls .
