Quantum Theory and the Atom Vocabulary Foldable

Outside Foldable Fold a piece of printer paper in half (hamburger). Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle Atomic Orbital Principal quantum number (n) Principal energy level or energy level Orbital angular momentum quantum number (l) Energy sublevel Magnetic quantum number (ml) Electron spin quantum number (ms) Fold a piece of printer paper in half (hamburger). Unfold the paper and fold both outside edges toward the center. Keeping the paper folded, fold the page in half hamburger and then fold again in the same direction. Write the vocabulary words on the outside flaps as shown to the left.

Inside Foldable it is impossible to know both the momentum and position of an electron at the same time a three-dimensional region around the nucleus which describes the electron’s probable location definition picture

Interactive Notebook Glue or tape your vocabulary foldable to page 135 of your science notebook. This foldable is meant to be like flashcards. The pictures should give you a hint as to what the definition is.
