Whats Included in the GPA? Core Classes (English, Math, Science and History) Foreign Language Pre-AP & AP Courses
What’s Not Included in the GPA? Middle School courses for high school credit (ex. algebra 1, Spanish 1)
Grading Scale We are on a 6.0 point scale that translates to the following: 6.0 = 100 5.0 = 90 4.0 = 80 3.0 = 70 2.0 = 60 1.0 = 50 Example: 4.7 = 87
Calculation Based on the semester average and is calculated at the end of each semester Takes about 3 weeks after the end of the semester for calculation to occur
Weighted Credit Pre-AP Classes earn an extra weight of 10 points Points are only applied in the calculation – they do not appear on the report card or transcript.
