8232 DECT Handset Overview 8232 DECT is a next generation of business DECT handset on IP/TDM DECT infrastructure for OCS (OXO) and OXE call servers Sustain our Enterprise mobility market share anticipate 300/400 DECT components End Of Life answer our customers expectations: hardware capabilities and GUI improvements Preserve customer investment Full backward compatibility with our 300/400 DECT on ALU installed base: - AGAP mode, no call server change requested to operate TDM IBS/RBS DECT infrastructure (AGAP mode) OXO R7.1.2 upwards OXE R9.1 upwards IP-DECT infrastructure OXO R9.0 upwards (GAP mode) OXE R10.1 upwards (AGAP mode)

IBS and IP DECT can not coexist GAP IP will provide a Voice GAP feature level (less than AGAP), can be compared to SIP but in addition will enable Web Services enabling new advanced facilities like: UDA, DbN Communications log ….
