Do you know what pumas look like? They an be a reddish color, tan, light brown, grey and black. They are about 27 inches tall. Pumas are 6 feet wide. They’re heads looks very small compared to they're bodies.

What do pumas eat? Pumas are predators. That means they eat meat. They stalk their prey. Their teeth are called canines.

What do pumas eat Continued? They eat whenever they are hungry. Pumas eat deer, mule, ground squirrel, beavers, and rabbits.

Where do pumas live? Pumas like in North, South and Central America. There are 50,000 pumas that live in the wild. A lot of them live in Arizona. In Arizona they can weigh 300 pounds.

What do baby pumas look like? When baby pumas are born they are blind. They weigh about 3 pounds. Baby pumas have spots on their bodies. They have spots so they can blend in.

What do baby pumas look like Continued? Baby pumas are about 12 inches to 15 inches long. They just drink milk in tell they can get their own food. The mother will have 6 to 8 kittens.

How do pumas grow up? The mother will guard her young in tell it is time to eat. She will hide them in bushes. She teaches them what is good and what is bad to eat. When pumas turn 2 they will leave the pack and live on their own in tell they find someone special.

Interesting facts Pumas are not called great cats like jaguars, tigers, lions, and leopards because they can’t roar. They can whistle, chirp, and scream but they can’t roar. The farthest a puma has ever jumped is 40 feet. Pumas can also jump 10 feet in to the air with a deer in its mouth.

Interesting facts Continued Pumas are actually really nice. Sometimes pumas save people. One person has one as a pet but he has to buy 5 pounds of steak every day.

Puma the brand The brand sells shoes, pants, shirts, and socks. The company used a puma instead of tiger, jaguars, and so on because it wanted to show the pumas ability to jump.
