When he arrived, he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, 28 for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus. (Acts 18:24-28)

Lev. 27) Expressions of dedication or thanksgiving Possibly vow out of gratitude to God for the safety in Corinth At the end of the vow He would cut his hair offer it as a burnt offering, along with a sacrifice, on the altar in Jerusalem (cf. Num. 6:1-21)
